On June 21, 2023, the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FICCI) and The New Indian Express hosted The TN Higher Education Summit and Awards at the ITC Chola, Chennai. KM Music Conservatory was awarded the Certificate of Recognition for the Best Music College in the region and hailed for its impressive contribution to higher education in the state of Tamil Nadu.
Mrs. Fathima Rafiq, Executive Director, KMMC, received the award on behalf of the institute. KMMC is greatly honoured to have been recognised for its immense role in furthering higher education in music right from its inception in 2008.
